Insurance information
Berman Skin Institute accepts many types of insurance — the plans we’re contracted with are listed below. We’re constantly adding new carriers, so if you don’t see yours, please contact our office or call the member-services number on your insurance card.
HMOs and managed-care plans work differently from traditional insurance: they require a referral from your primary care physician before you can be seen. A referral covers a consultation or office visit only — it is not approval for a procedure. Authorization must be obtained for each visit, so after your consult you may need to return on another day once a procedure is authorized.
Our billing team is experienced in obtaining these authorizations. Please keep in mind the process is time-consuming and can take several weeks; calling your insurance company yourself often helps speed things along.

Getting started is quick and easy and won’t impact your credit score. Simply create an Allé account, and Cherry will run a soft credit check to see if you qualify.

Enter your Allé phone number and personal info, and Cherry runs a soft credit check — meaning your credit score won’t be impacted.
Schedule a consultation
Find a participating Allé provider in your area and book a consultation to discuss your treatment goals.
Get treated
Once you and your provider decide on the right treatment, let them know you’d like to use a Cherry payment plan.
Pay with Cherry
At checkout, your provider texts you a link. Pick the plan that works best, make your down payment, and accept the terms.
Pay over time — and do it again
Use Cherry’s portal to pay monthly, prepay, or adjust autopay. Once it’s paid off, you can get treated again.
